PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Mech-Tech Institute’s Racing Mechanics curriculum focuses on the theoretical development, design, building and testing of various types of race engines. Students will learn about the use and application of the different specialized tools used to perform race car engine repairs. Additionally, this comprehensive program includes the study of the various types of fuel used by racing vehicle engines.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of the Racing Mechanics Program, students will be able to build and perform modifications and alterations to all types of racing vehicles, learn current racing rules and regulations; and work with different components including, motorcycles, chassis, transmissions and differentials. After acquiring sufficient practical experience within the racing mechanics field, program graduates will be empowered with entrepreneurship skills essential to establish their own laboratory.
